We teach the following about Jesus Christ:

His Deity (Matthew 16:16, 17 and John 1:1)

His humanity (Hebrews 2:18 and 4:15)

His virgin birth (Luke 1:26-28 and Isaiah 7:14)

His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15)

His Life is to be expressed through new creations in Christ (John 10:10) by faith (Colossians 3:3-4)

His miracles (Luke 4:18 and Isaiah 61:1,2)

His death reconciled us to God (Romans 5:10)

His Life through us, by faith, empowers us to live the life that overcomes (Romans 5:10)

His ability to regenerate man through spirit-rebirth (John 3:5,6, 16, 17; Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 1:23)

His bodily resurrection (John 20:27, 28; Romans 4:24, 6:4; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8)

His ascension to the Father (Ephesians 1:20)

His return to earth (Matthew 24:29-31 and Revelation 19:11-19)

We teach the following about salvation:

Salvation from the penalty and power of sin is offered to all as a free gift of God's grace apart from any human works or religious acts (Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; Romans 6:23)

The gift of life, resulting in salvation, can only be received when one realizes their hopeless condition and places their confidence and faith in the death of Jesus Christ on the cross and in His resurrection from the dead (Philippians 3:3-9; Romans 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 15:14; John 1:12)

Those whose spirit's have been regenerated through their rebirth can never be unregenerated (John 10:27-29; 1 Peter 1:5; Ephesians 2:8; Romans 8:35-39; Ephesians 1:13-14)

We teach the following about Believers:

It is through the shedding of Messiah's (Christ's) blood that all the believer's sins are forgiven (Leviticus 17:11; Romans 5:9)

It is through Messiah's bodily death that the believer's old man (former life/spirit that was descended from Adam) was crucified (Romans 6:6)

It is through Messiah's bodily resurrection that a believer is reborn (1 Peter 1:3) as a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), made one with God (1 Corinthians 6:17), granted every spiritual blessing and is seated in heavenly places in Messiah (Ephesians 1:3, 2:6)

The believer is given Messiah's life and nature in exchange for his former dead spirit and nature that he inherited from Adam (Ephesians 2:1, 5; Romans 5:10, 17-19)

As the believer appropriates by faith their union with Jesus in their co-crucifixion and resurrection in their daily life, they can experience victory over the world, the flesh, and the Evil One (Romans 6:1-14; Galatians 2:20, 5:22-25)

It is through a personal relationship with Jesus and the work of the Holy Spirit that the believer is empowered to experience consistent victory over sin, but never sinless perfection (Romans 6:12-18; Galatians 5:16-17)

What we believe about life in Christ:

The Christian life is not to be motivated by law but rather by the grace and love of Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:1-3; John 14:21; 1 John 5:2). This life is not a passive one, but is active and dependent on faith in Jesus to live a life consistent with God's Word (1 Peter 2:1-2; Hebrews 5:12-14). The believer is empowered by the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:16-26) to choose the life of Jesus within to live the Christian life without (Ephesians 4:17-24; Colossians 3:1-17; Romans 12:2) as their mind is renewed and they progressively lose confidence in their fleshly ways of living, attitudes and mindset.
